CSCI has a statutory duty to report annually on the state of social care services in England. In this, our first report to Parliament, we use the findings from our inspections and assessment actvity to describe the state of social care in England.

People met at a recent workshop in Totton to hear some ideas about including people who have higher support needs in person-centred planning.
Guest speakers told us how they had approached this, but participants also had plenty of great ideas that they had used or were going to try.
There was a real commitment to including people that can often seem hard to plan with - we felt this group might need a good plan most of all to help them get a better life!
