PCP Celebration Conference Film

On September 19th 2007 at the Maltings in Alton, a person centred planning celebration day took place.

The Hampshire Learning Disability Partnership Board has been investing in person centred planning for several years. Many people have started to develop a person centred plan. A great many other people know about person centred planning and would like to start, or help someone else start.  We wanted to celebrate that.

Around 130 people attended the day and enjoy a variety of workshops, events and presentations.  The Person Centred Planning Team wanted to capture people's thoughts about person centred planning and important goals in their life. We commissioned a film from the Shedlight Productions so we could share people's thoughts about person centred planning.

You can watch this film on Hampshire's person centred planning channel http://www.youtube.com/Jason1Hope2

Happy Viewing

Yap - website for young people 16-24

Yap is a website for young people with learning disabilities aged 16-24.

The website has lots of person centred planning features. You can build up your own profile using pictures or films. It's a place to talk about the things that are important to you.

You can register which allows you send messages to other young people. There's also some good advice about keeping safe on the internet too.

The site has been developed by Mencap, here is the link:

Best Wishes
